[singlepic id=53 w= h= float=left]There is something absolutely awesome about having someone love one of your landscape photographs enough to want a print / framed piece! While I definitely enjoy when a family loves a portrait that I’ve done, enough to buy a print, there’s an enjoyment I receive on a MUCH deeper level, when someone purchases a fine art scenic print from me. Even more than that, it’s fun for me to have a complete stranger come across my work online or on display somewhere, and then go out of their way to contact me about wanting a print. Anyways, the print in my hands is called ‘Steady’ and is a long exposure image that I made a few months back near the Clearwater Causeway in Safety Harbor, FL. Recently, this photo placed as a top ten image in the Creative Loafing Visions photography contest and as a result, will be on display in the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (in Tampa) until May 27th. That fact in itself is enough to keep me happy for months, but then I received an email from someone who lives in Manhattan, New York but had recently visited the FMoPA. He had incredibly nice things to say about how calming ‘Steady’ was for him to look at, and wanted to purchase a print! That is his print in the photograph. I’ll be sending it his way soon!
To give you some info on my florida landscape photography prints, I make the prints myself on an Epson 4900 and print everything on Fine Art Hot Press Bright paper. It’s a thicker stock that’s super smooth and has an incredibly gorgeous matte appearance. Love it! I am happy to sell the print by itself (for you to frame and mat), sell a matted print, or a completely framed piece! My most common size is what you see in the photo. The image itself is 17×11, and the entire piece is 22×17.
I would absolutely love to hear from you if you’d be interested in owning one of my prints! Just click over to my contact page and send me a quick message to get more info on pricing, options etc.
You are also more than welcome to come to one of my shows, and purchase a print in person! I have two shows coming up in the near future (more detailed info will be available soon).
